TIPOS DE VIOLÊNCIA EM IDOSOS SEGUNDO O SISTEMA NACIONAL DE AGRAVOS DE NOTIFICAÇÃO
Objetivo: Identificar os tipos de violência em idosos segundo o Sistema Nacional de Agravos de Notificação. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, analítico, com abordagem descritiva e delineamento transversal, realizado no período de 2009 a 2012, na cidade de Jequié- BA. A pesquisa utilizou dados secundários registrados no Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação – SINAN/Net / Sistema de Vigilância de Violências e Acidentes – VIVA; as variáveis foram apresentadas conforme a Ficha de Notificação/ Investigação de Violência Doméstica, Sexual e/ou Outras violências. Resultados: Verificou-se em referência aos tipos de violência maior notificação de violência física e de espancamento, nos anos de 2012. Em relação ao perfil das vítimas, constatou-se que são em sua maioria homens, e com escolaridade pertencente a ensino médio completo. Conclusão: Os achados evidenciam que a violência mais frequentes no município estudado é semelhante com as encontradas em literatura, ademais, vários são os tipos de agressões executados contra a pessoa idosa. Da análise dos registros de violência em idosos segundo o SINAM, foi possível evidenciar baixos índices de violência. Não obstante, quando se observa a estimativa do número da população no município, suspeita-se de subnotificação. O fator é agravante para as políticas de saúde e sociais.

Abstract:
Objective: To identify the types of violence in the elderly according to the National System of Notifiable Diseases. Methods: This is a quantitative, analytical study, with a descriptive approach and cross-sectional design, carried out from 2009 to 2012, in the city of Jequié-BA. The research used secondary data registered in the Notifiable Diseases Information System - SINAN / Net / Violence and Accidents Surveillance System - VIVA; the variables were presented according to the Notification / Investigation Form for Domestic, Sexual and / or Other Violences. Results: It was found, in reference to the types of violence, greater notification of physical violence and beatings, in 2012. Regarding the profile of the victims, it was found that they are mostly men, with schooling belonging to complete high school . Conclusion: The findings show that the most frequent violence in the studied city is similar to those found in the literature, in addition, there are several types of aggressions carried out against the elderly. From the analysis of records of violence in the elderly according to SINAM, it was possible to show low levels of violence. However, when the population number estimate in the municipality is observed, underreporting is suspected. The factor is aggravating for health and social policies.
