O ano de 2020 trouxe consigo uma pandemia fazendo com que a humanidade repensasse conceitos, recriasse estratégias e reaprendesse a viver. A implementação de novas tecnologias, que vão da inteligência artificial a simples utilização de aplicativos para celulares, se fizeram extremamente urgentes em tempo de isolamento social. O presente artigo é parte da pesquisa de doutorado. Com o advento da COVID-19 e a polêmica discussão acerca da legalidade de realização de sessões virtuais do Tribunal do Júri, sentimo-nos instigados a pesquisar, observar, analisar e discutir o comportamento dos jurados e as implicações frente aos
princípios constitucionais e processuais.

Abstract:
The year 2020 brought with it a pandemic causing humanity to
rethink concepts, recreate strategies and relearn how to live. The implementation of new technologies, ranging from artificial intelligence to simple use of mobile applications, became extremely urgent in times of social isolation. This article is part of the doctoral research. With the advent of COVID-19 and the controversial discussion about legality of holding virtual sessions of the Jury Tribunal, we feel encouraged to research, observe, analyze and discuss the behavior of the judges and the implications
constitutional and procedural principles. -
