THE TEACHER'S MEDIATING ACTION AND THE USE OF TECHNOLOGIES IN THE MATHEMATICS TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS: EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARES
Este trabalho tem por objetivo discutir o ensino da matemática e apresentar relações existentes entre as ações metodológicas e o uso das tecnologias. Durante os processos de avalições aplicadas pelo professor, era nítida a insatisfação dos alunos quanto à disciplina de matemática, causando assim, certo descontentamento com os conteúdos de ensino e a sua relação com a prática. Na busca de adequar as aulas por meio do uso de softwares educacionais a equipe pedagógica, formada pelo professor e seus coordenadores, estabeleceram uma relação mediadora entre os conteúdos de ensino e o cotidiano do aluno, tentando distanciar o conceito abstrato que a disciplina apresenta em seus muitos dizeres. Buscaram-se nos estudos teóricos, discussões diante das reflexões acerca da ação do professor como agente de memória na sociedade digital e seu papel para modificar este cenário. Este relato é baseado em uma escola pública da cidade de Santa Helena de Goiás, cujos alunos apresentavam distintas dificuldades com a aprendizagem no ensino da matemática.

Abstract:
This work aims to discuss the teaching of mathematics and present existing relationships between methodological actions and the use of technologies. During the evaluation processes applied by the teacher, students' dissatisfaction with the mathematics discipline was clear, thus causing some discontent with the teaching content and its relationship with practice. In the search to adapt the classes through the use of educational software, the pedagogical team, formed by the teacher and his coordinators, established a mediating relationship between the teaching content and the student's daily life, trying to distance the abstract concept that the discipline presents to the students in many words. In theoretical studies, discussions were sought in the face of reflections about the teacher's action as an agent of memory in the digital society and its role in changing this scenario. This report is based on a public school in Santa Helena de Goias' city, whose students had different difficulties with learning mathematics.
