Abstract: The following article aimed to discuss and raise hypotheses about the possible consequences and effect of the accessibility of psychological tests for society and for the class of Psychologists, through a literature review. The integrative literature review was used as a methodology, through a survey of literary productions related to the theoretical- methodological framework of psychological tests, in the following databases: Scielo. Pepsic and Portal Regional VHL aiming to search for articles published in Portuguese in Brazil, in a period of 5 years, that is, from 2015 to 2020. The terms used in the search were: "psychological tests", "use of psychological tests", "psychological assessment", "psychological assessment in Brazil", "psychological instruments", "psychometry", "psychological training" and "psychological training". After researching the articles, those related to the proposed topic were selected by reading the abstracts, having as inclusion criteria works from quantitative and qualitative empirical studies on psychological tests in Brazil, psychological assessment in Brazil, how to prepare an assessment plan psychological assessment, differences between psychological assessment and psychological testing, areas of expertise that most use psychological tests in Brazil, training needed to apply tests and use of psychological tests by Psychologists. The exclusion criteria adopted were articles written and published before 2015, and those that did not have subjects related to the topic of psychological tests in their content. The literature survey took place from March to August 2021, as a result of which a total of 18 articles related mainly to the Scielo website were found, after reading and analyzing the abstract, 4 were excluded, leaving 14 articles to be included in this research. Since the results found demonstrate aspects of reflection on the use of psychological tests, however, it shows particularities for the maintenance of exclusivity by psychologists.
