TERRA OU MORTE: AS DENUNCIAS DAS FEDERAÇÕES CAMPONESAS E YANACONAS CONTRA AS FAZENDAS E O GOVERNO PERUANO, EXPOSTAS NO JORNAL UNIDAD (1960-1963).
Na década de 1960, as greves e lutas sindicais aumentaram exponencialmente no Peru, no cenário camponês o principal problema foi a acumulação de terras das grandes fazendas, quase toda a terra cultivável pertenceu a umas poucas famílias, gerando grande competência e abusos contra os trabalhadores agrícolas, neste panorama de abusos e massacres, começou aumentar a quantidade de sindicatos agrários; estes sindicatos tiveram voz no jornal Unidad, do Partido Comunista Peruano (PCP). Nesse jornal se publicaram durante toda a década as denúncias e comunicados dos principais sindicatos agrários do Peru, mas o objetivo principal dos sindicatos agrários e o jornal, foi a implantação de uma Reforma Agrária, uma que permita que a terra seja dos camponeses, afaste aos fazendeiros e às empresas mineiras que constantemente invadiam as parcelas das comunidades agrícolas.

Abstract:
In the sixties, Peruvian strikes, protests and other union struggles increased exponentially. The main problem in the countryside was the land accumulation from large farming estates. Almost all the agricultural land belonged to a few families, generating unequal competition against independent peasants, in addition to mistreatment and abuses against farm workers on the estates. Agricultural union organizations proliferated in this panorama of abuses and massacres. These agrarian unions had a voice in the ´Unidad´ newspaper of the Peruvian Communist Party (PCP), in which their complaints and statements were published throughout the decade; demanding, in almost all of its publications, the implementation of an Agrarian Reform that dispossess the properties of the landowners and mining companies to hand them over to the peasants.
