TERMOS/SINAIS DA TABELA PERIÓDICA: POSSIBILIDADE DE ACESSO E APRENDIZAGEM DOS ALUNOS SURDOS
Traduzir os símbolos em palavras e, particularmente, em sinais não é uma atividade muito fácil, mas esta pesquisa tenta expressar um pouco dos anseios de contribuir por uma prática de ensino de química mais inclusiva. Desta forma, esse trabalho surgiu a partir da carência de sinais específicos em Libras na área de química e pela dificuldade de acesso a materiais de ensino nesta área que auxiliem na aprendizagem dos alunos surdos (neste caso, sobre a tabela periódica), visto que na área da química existem muitos termos técnicos e específicos de um modo geral. Foi escolhido o tema tabela periódica por ser um tema de fundamental importância e é ensinado tanto no nono ano do Ensino Fundamental, no primeiro ano do Ensino Médio e em outros momentos. E, foi escolhido o sinalário ilustrado de termos da tabela periódica por ser um recurso com aspecto visual, visto que o aspecto visual facilita o aprendizado do surdo. Assim, tem-se como objetivo geral analisar se a intérprete do aluno surdo do 1º ano do Ensino Médio do Colégio Estadual Pedro Calmon em Amargosa-Bahia utiliza algum sinalário em Libras ou sinais dos termos específicos para acessibilizar o aprendizado do tema Tabela Periódica, assim como identificar esses sinais e em quais fontes esses sinais foram encontrados e se estão sendo utilizados corretamente. O sinalário foi organizado a partir do mapeamento, em sites e livros, dos termos/sinais dos termos relativos ao aprendizado do tema tabela periódica. É perceptível a crescente quantidade de sinais relacionados à química ao longo dos anos, mas ainda assim, existe a escassez de sinais específicos nessa área.

Abstract:
Translating symbols into words and, particularly, into signals is not a very easy activity, but this research tries to express a little of the yearnings to contribute for a more inclusive teaching practice in chemistry. Thus, this work arose from the lack of specific signals in Libras in the area of chemistry and the difficulty of access to teaching materials in this area that assist in the learning of deaf students (in this case, about the periodic table), since in the field of chemistry there are many technical and specific terms in general. The periodic table theme was chosen because it is a matter of fundamental importance and is taught both in the ninth year of elementary school, in the first year of high school and at other times. And, the illustrated sinalary of terms from the periodic table was chosen because it is a resource with a visual aspect, since the visual aspect facilitates the learning of the deaf. Thus, the general objective is to analyze whether the interpreter of the deaf student in the 1st year of high school at Colégio Estadual Pedro Calmon in Amargosa-Bahia uses any sinalary in Libras or signals of the specific terms to make learning the theme Periodic Table accessible, as well as to identify these signals and in what sources these signals were found and if they are being used correctly. The sinalary was organized from the mapping, on websites and books, of the terms/signals of the terms related to the learning of the theme periodic table. It is noticeable the growing increasing number of signals related to chemistry over the years, but still, there is a shortage of specific signals in this area.
