Abstract: Occupational therapy in Primary Health Care highlights the living environments of the individuals it serves during its interventions. Objective: The objective of this study is to identify and synthesize existing information in the literature about occupational therapist care methods in primary care aimed at people with disabilities, vulnerable people, pregnant women and children. Method: this is an integrative literature review on the role of occupational therapists in the context of basic health care with emphasis on: people with disabilities, vulnerable people, pregnant women and children, research was carried out in the following databases: Virtual Health Library (VHL), Google Scholar, Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), data collection of results and discussion, the following DeCS descriptors (Descriptors in Sciences) were used of Health): "primary care", "Care", "occupational therapist", selected articles, texts and available data that covered these descriptors and had a minimum period of 10 years, the search was carried out in Portuguese. Results: through the study it was found that the occupational therapist in primary care is extremely important to assist in the rehabilitation of patients in the different contexts in which they are inserted. Conclusion: It concludes that the occupational therapist is part of the unit's multidisciplinary team in order to carry out actions or interventions according to the needs of each individual.
