• Abstract: The aim of this academic work is to investigate behavioral tendencies in animals, focusing on communication, learning and social interaction. Animal communication is essential for social interaction and the transfer of critical information between individuals. Several species have evolved specific communication strategies that use sensory modalities such as vocalizations, gestures and chemical cues. These communication strategies allow the transfer of information about feeding, danger, territoriality and courtship, contributing to our understanding of complex social interactions in animals. Animal learning plays an important role in acquiring skills and knowledge to survive and adapt to the environment. Different learning mechanisms are observed in different species, ranging from simple conditioning processes to more complex forms of social learning. These processes allow animals to acquire knowledge about resources, locations, predators and partners, and to develop special skills to face the challenges of the environments in which they live. By investigating these behavioral trends, we intend to provide valuable information for the veterinary practice. Understanding animal communication and learning will allow for better management, diagnosis and treatment of animals in a variety of environments. In addition, this information contributes to the well-being and health of the animals and helps in the prevention and resolution of behavioral problems.
