Abstract: Human sporotrichosis is a mycosis caused by fungi of the Sporothrix genus. This article aimed to analyze the most prominent research themes in Brazilian scientific publications on sporotrichosis. This is an exploratory, descriptive, and bibliometric study. The literature search was conducted in March 2024 in the Scopus database, using the descriptors “sporotrichosis AND human.” The results revealed 434 articles published in Brazil between 1969 and 2024. Researchers from 35 different countries participated, with the Netherlands (33 articles) and the United States (32 articles) being the most collaborative. The main research area was pharmaceuticals (n = 332), followed by immunology (n = 138). The keyword co-occurrence network allowed the identification of seven research themes: diagnosis, treatment, pathogenicity, alternative diagnostic methods, and Sporothrix resistance. It is concluded that the control, prevention, and treatment of human sporotrichosis require a comprehensive approach, involving joint efforts from the academic, scientific, professional, political, and general society sectors, addressing social vulnerabilities and implementing measures for both people and animals—specifically dogs and cats.
