Abstract: ABSTRACT: The advancement of digital technologies has transformed the delivery of health services, creating new opportunities to reach historically marginalized populations. In this context, telemedicine emerges as a promising strategy to overcome access barriers and strengthen health care in remote communities, such as Indigenous populations. From this perspective, the present study aimed to analyze telemedicine as a supportive tool for Indigenous health care through a narrative literature review. This study consisted of a narrative review, with searches conducted in the SciELO, PubMed, and LILACS databases. The analyzed studies indicate that telemedicine is a strategic resource to expand access to Indigenous health care, reducing geographic barriers and costs while ensuring greater continuity of care. Although it presents benefits such as integration with specialized services and support for continuing professional education, it still faces challenges related to infrastructure, digital exclusion, and sustainability of initiatives. Therefore, telemedicine represents an important complementary tool, whose success depends on investments in technology, digital inclusion, and the active participation of Indigenous communities to ensure comprehensive and culturally appropriate care.
