Abstract: Objective: To identify effective care technologies used as Integrative and Complementary Health Practices for women in Primary Health Care. Method: This is an Integrative Review, conducted based on the stages of Whittemore and Knalf: identification of the problem and construction of the research question; literature search in the defined databases; evaluation and categorization of the studies; data analysis; presentation and synthesis of the results. Searches were carried out in four databases: Nursing Database, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, SciVerse Scopus, with the help of the Mendeley® bibliographic reference manager. Results: Eight articles were identified for the final sample. Most of the articles (87.5%) were indexed in the Pubmed database and had acupuncture (37.5%) as the Integrative and Complementary Practice studied. Herbal medicine and acupuncture significantly reduced menopause symptoms, improving quality of life with fewer risks arising from the use of Hormone Replacement Therapy. Moxibustion in pregnant women with pelvic presentation reduced the number of caesarean sections with fewer risks to women's health and lower costs to the system. Auriculotherapy associated with standard obstetric care achieved significant results in reducing lumbar and pelvic pain, improving quality of life and reducing functional disability. Conclusion: The use of Integrative and Complementary Health Practices in women has demonstrated efficacy and safety, accompanied by a low cost to the health system. However, studies related to Integrative and Complementary Health Practices for women in Primary Health Care need to be rigorous, with safe designs, larger samples and knowledge about the population that chooses to use Integrative and Complementary Health Practices. Contributions To Nursing Practice: Integrative and complementary practices broaden nursing practice by incorporating therapeutic possibilities, ensuring that patients have better access to innovative care technologies from the perspective of a comprehensive approach to health, centered on the patient and considering the determinants of health, thus promoting their autonomy and self-care.
