Abstract: The technological transformations that characterize contemporary society have significantly impacted educational processes, demanding new ways of understanding teaching, learning, and human development. In this context, disruptive technologies, especially artificial intelligence, virtual learning environments, collaborative digital platforms, and intelligent systems for the production and sharing of information, are modifying pedagogical practices and modes of knowledge construction. Faced with these changes, the need arises to reflect on the potential of these technologies for promoting an education committed to autonomy, critical thinking, and the participation of individuals in educational processes. This chapter aims to analyze the relationships between teaching, disruptive technologies, and emancipatory education, discussing their implications for pedagogical practice and teacher training in contemporary times. This is a bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach, based on authors who discuss education, digital culture, teacher training, and educational innovation. The analysis shows that digital technologies can favor more meaningful, collaborative, and contextualized learning processes when integrated into critical and intentionally planned pedagogical proposals. However, it is important to highlight that the incorporation of technologies into the educational context does not, in itself, guarantee the transformation of teaching practices; the involvement of reflective teachers committed to the holistic development of students is indispensable. It is concluded that the construction of an emancipatory education in the digital age depends on the articulation between technological innovation, teacher training, and an ethical commitment to the democratization of knowledge and social transformation.
