TECNOLOGIA ASSISTIVA: COMUNICAÇÃO ALTERNATIVA NO CONTO E RECONTO DE HISTÓRIA NA ESCOLA
O objetivo deste estudo foi a
implementação de sistemas de comunicação
suplementar e alternativa por meio da atividade
de contos e recontos de histórias na rotina
de escolas com alunos com deficiências e
necessidades complexas de comunicação. Dez
alunos com deficiência, alunos sem deficiência e
seus professores do ensino regular participaram
deste estudo. As atividades de contar histórias de
2 horas foram realizadas semanalmente durante
o período de 2013 a 2017. As atividades foram
realizadas por meio de sistemas de comunicação
suplementar e alternativa na rotina pedagogica
prevista pelo professor. Os resultados indicaram
que as ações resultaram em maior participação
de alunos com deficiência em atividades que
envolviam histórias; ampliação de vocabulário e
uso de sistemas de comunicação suplementar
e alternativa na rotina escolar; capacitação de
professores que atuam no ensino regular e
dos seus alunos no contexto das linguagens
alternativas.

Abstract:
The objective of this study was the
implementation of augmentative and alternative
communication systems through storytelling
activity in the routine of a school for children.
Ten nonspeaking students with complex
communication needs need and students
without disabilities from the regular school and
their teachers participated in this study. The
2-hour storytelling activities were held weekly
during the 2013 - 2017 period. The activities
were carried out by using augmentative and
alternative communication systems in the
pedagogical routine provided by the teacher.
The results indicated that the actions led to
increased participation of nonspeaking students
with complex communication needs in activities
involving stories, vocabulary expansion and use
of augmentative and alternative communication
systems in the school routine, training of the
teachers that act on regular education as well as
training their students in the context of alternative
languages.
