TECNOLOGIA ASSISTIVA: AUTONOMIA, QUALIDADE DE VIDA E INCLUSÃO SOCIAL
Esta pesquisa tem como finalidade a criação, adequação ou inovação de recursos, equipamentos e/ou produtos para a melhoria da condição de pessoas com deficiência física ou que possua qualquer tipo de mobilidade reduzida (v.g. idosos) permanente ou temporária, promovendo maior independência alcançada e inclusão social. Em todos os sentidos tem-se o desenvolvimento tecnológico a favor da sociedade no que diz respeito a transformar a vida e torná-la mais simples; logo se pode tornar a vida de pessoas com deficiência não apenas mais simples, mas sim, realmente possível. A tecnologia assistiva surge nos dias atuais como um novo horizonte na assistência à melhoria da habilidade funcional. O objetivo do projeto é estudar vários tipos de deficiência humana, verificar toda sua dificuldade para com a sociedade, procurando solucionar o problema da inclusão social com o estudo e utilização de diversas categorias da tecnologia assistiva. O projeto é totalmente interdisciplinar e multidisciplinar, envolvendo conhecimentos concretos sobre os direitos humanos, a constituição e sua aplicação verídica, sobre o movimento e ergonomia do corpo humano, o processo de socialização, inclusão social e vida digna, sobre materiais acessíveis, resistentes e adequados às necessidades do corpo humano e a condição financeira do cidadão etc. e para tal, envolve profissionais capacitados e verdadeiramente dispostos a solucionar e proporcionar vida feliz, livre e justa a todos os cidadãos sem discriminação de nenhum tipo. São os profissionais da área do direito, das engenharias, da física/química, da medicina, da fisioterapia, entre outras. Os resultados alcançados com a pesquisa e o projeto como um todo visam à real inclusão social e à dignidade das pessoas com deficiência por meio da tecnologia assistiva, realmente aplicada e empregada na criação de medidas, produtos, recursos e serviços que possibilitam o desenvolvimento autônomo, favorecem a mobilidade e a acessibilidade em geral.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to create, adaptation or innovation resources, equipment and/or product s to improve the condition of people with physical disabilities or who have any type of reduced mobility (eg, elderly), permanent or temporary, promoting greater independence and social inclusion. In all senses one has the technological development in favor of society with regard to transforming lives and making it simpler; soon it is possible to make the lives of people with disabilities not only simpler but actually possible. Assistive technology appears today as a new horizon in assisting the improvement of functional ability. The objective of the project is to study various types of human deficiency, to verify the difficulty it suffers from society, seeking to solve the problem of social inclusion with the study and use of several categories of assistive technology. The project is fully interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary, involving concrete knowledge about human rights, the constitution and its truthful application, on the movement and ergonomics of the human body, the process of socialization, social inclusion and dignified life, on accessible, resistant and adequate materials the needs of the human body and the financial condition of the citizen, etc. And for that, it involves professionals who are capable and truly willing to solve and provide happy, free and fair life to all citizens without discrimination of any kind. They are professionals in the field of law, engineering, physics/chemistry, medicine, physiotherapy, among others. The results achieved with the research and the project as a whole, are aimed at the real social inclusion and dignity of people with disabilities through assistive technology, really applied and used in the creation of measures, products, resources, and services that enable the autonomous development, facilitate mobility and accessibility in general.
