Abstract: In a broad sense, communication is an inherent action in every human life, and throughout history, humanity has developed ways to "speak" about its feelings, aspirations, passions, and displeasures, expanding its artistic abilities through four universal languages: visual arts, theater, dance, and music. Musical Theater emerged over time as a challenge to test its limits and abilities. Thus, this work is the result of a master's dissertation, defended in 2015, which deals with the path of creation, development, and production of a Musical Theater in basic education. The research gave rise to the Musical Theater Kimera, based on the narratives of the simulator game Kimera - Imaginary Cities, created and developed by the Geotechnologies, Education, and Contemporaneity Research Group - GEOTEC, from the State University of Bahia - UNEB. This research began with observations of the dynamics of the world, life, and space of students in a public school in Salvador/BA, which culminated in the Musical Kimera: An Imaginary World show, enabling these students to experience artistry. The methodological approach of this research involved the systematic understanding of the elements that make up a Musical Theater, as well as integrating universal languages with the participating subjects (singers, musicians, lyricists, composers, researchers, students, teachers, actors, among many others), aiming to gather conceptions of diverse knowledge that transcend the construction of Musical Theater. Regarding epistemic assumptions, I engage in dialogue with Arendt (2000), Bernardes (2001), Bettelheim (1980), Durand (1994), Garrido (2013), Lefebvre (2006), Certeau (1994), Hetkowski (2012), Lima Jr (2010), Rubim (2010), Santa Rosa (2006) and (2012), Veneziano (2002), Pierce (2013), Ostrower (1987), Morin (2004), among others, who discuss concepts of the imaginary, space and lived place, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), art of doing, creative process, among other concepts intertwined with Musical Education. As a procedure of this proposal, I describe the path of creation of the Musical Theater Kimera- An Imaginary World, in its acts and facts that attest to the knowledge and practices of music, dance, representation, and the "unique" potential of each subject involved in this challenge. I verify that it is possible to promote musicality through shows like this, to the reproduction and performance based on the improvement of the inspirations, aspirations, and inherent knowledge of these subjects who already experience music in their daily lives.
