TAXONOMIA DO GÊNERO DICTYOTA LAMOUROUX (DICTYOTACEAE - OCHROPHYTA) NO LITORAL DO ESTADO DO PIAUÍ, BRASIL
No nordeste brasileiro poucos estudos são realizados com o objetivo de conhecer a flora das algas pardas marinhas. Os estudos ficológicos com ênfase na taxonomia são de grande importância para o conhecimento da flora da região e sua biodiversidade. Nesse contexto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar novas adições à flora já identificada, bem como contribuir ao conhecimento dos estudos taxonômicos das macroalgas marinhas bentônicas do gênero Dictyota do litoral piauiense, fornecendo, também, informações sobre sua distribuição e aspectos ecológicos. As coletas foram realizadas na praia do Coqueiro, praia da Carnaubinha e praia de Barra Grande, durante os meses de julho a dezembro de 2019, de modo aleatório ao longo do banco de algas, nas regiões entremarés durante períodos de marés de sizígia. A identificação do material foi realizada de acordo com observações da morfologia externa, e quando necessário foram feitos cortes longitudinais e/ou transversais para análise das estruturas ao microscópio. Para estudos anatômicos, foram realizados cortes à mão livre com auxilio de lâmina de bisturi. Um paquímetro foi usado para obtenção de dimensões das porções do talo. Mundialmente este gênero é representado por 96 espécies, sendo assim, o gênero com mais diversidade da família Dictyotaceae, sendo também um dos mais abundantes em habitats de algas marinhas tropicais. O estudo da ocorrência do gênero Dictyota para o litoral piauiense contribuiu com três táxons infragenéricos, D. bartayresiana, D. menstrualis e D. pulchella. Com os dados obtidos observou-se que espécies do gênero Dictyota ocorrem com pouca frequência no litoral do Piauí, e com baixa diversidade.

Abstract:
In northeastern Brazil, few studies are carried out with the objective of knowing the flora of marine brown algae. The phycological studies with emphasis on taxonomy are of great importance for the knowledge of the flora of the region and its biodiversity. In this context, the present work aimed to make new additions to the flora already identified, as well as to contribute to the knowledge of taxonomic studies of benthic marine macroalgae of the genus Dictyota from the Piauí coast, also providing information on their distribution and ecological aspects. The collections were carried out at Coqueiro beach, Carnaubinha beach and Barra Grande beach, during the months of July to December 2019, randomly along the seaweed bank, in the intertidal regions during periods of syzygy tides. Material identification was performed according to external morphology observations, and when necessary, longitudinal and/or transversal cuts were made for analysis of the structures under the microscope. For anatomical studies, freehand cuts were performed with the aid of a scalpel blade. A caliper was used to obtain dimensions of the thallus portions. Worldwide, this genus is represented by 96 species, thus being the genus with the most diversity in the Dictyotaceae family, being also one of the most abundant in tropical marine algae habitats. The study of the occurrence of the genus Dictyota for the Piauí coast contributed with three infrageneric taxa, D. bartayresiana, D. menstrualis and D. pulchella. With the data obtained, it was observed that species of the genus Dictyota occur infrequently on the coast of Piauí, and with low diversity.
