SUICÍDIO E A CLÍNICA PSICOLÓGICA EXISTENCIAL
Este estudo tem como objetivo compreender como a psicologia existencial atua frente à questão do suicídio na clínica. Como caminho metodológico, buscamos inicialmente uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a temática do suicídio, principalmente pelas ciências humanas e órgãos de saúde. Seguimos, buscando identificar as concepções filósoficas, do Existencialismo e da Fenomenologia, que sustentam a psicologia existencial, para então refletirmos sobre a temática da morte voluntária em seu aparecimento na psicoterapia. Concluímos que o/a psicoterapeuta de base existencial requer colocar em suspenso as teorias que permeiam a noção de suicídio em nossa era de modo que, mantendo-se em uma preocupação libertadora, possa se colocar em um processo de abertura junto ao cliente, acompanhando com ele os sentidos que o/a levam à decisão de terminar sua vida antecipadamente.

Abstract:
This study aims to understand how existential psychology works with the issue of suicide in the clinic. As a methodological path, we initially sought a bibliographical review on the subject of suicide, mainly by human sciences and health agencies. We continue, seeking to identify the philosophical conceptions of Existentialism and Phenomenology, which support existential psychology, and then reflect on the theme of voluntary death in its appearance in psychotherapy. We conclude that the existential psychotherapist needs to suspend the theories that permeate the notion of suicide in our era so that, while maintaining a liberating concern, he/she can place himself/herself in a process of openness with the client, following with him/her the meanings that lead him/her to the decision to end his/her life early.
