STENTS DE 1ª, 2ª E 3ª GERAÇÕES: COMPARAÇÃO E COMPLICAÇÕES
O método de escolha emergencial utilizado quando as artérias coronarianas são acometidas é a intervenção coronariana percutânea. O mercado oferece diferentes tipos de stents para manter a patência do vaso, sendo eles de primeira, segunda ou terceira geração. Comparados os stents de segunda e terceira geração tiveram maior sucesso em diminuir a formação de reestenose ou trombos e menor incidência de óbito por causa cardiovascular.

Abstract:
The method of emergency choice used when coronary arteries are affected is percutaneous coronary intervention. The market offers different types of stents to maintain the patency of the vessel, whether they are first, second or third generation. Compared to the second and third generation stents, they were more successful in reducing the formation of restenosis or thrombus and lower incidence of death due to cardiovascular causes.
