STANISLAW IGNACY WITKIEWICZ – A FORMA PURA E O ÊXTASE MÍSTICO PELA ARTE
Neste artigo será abordado um
pouco da vida de Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewiczo
Witkacy (1885-1939) e também da sua “teoria
da Forma Pura”. O multi-artista polonês foi pintor,
fotógrafo, dramaturgo, romancista, performer,
escritor de teoria filosófica e também de uma
teoria estética – a teoria da Forma Pura. Entre
uma espécie de formalismo e expressionismo,
a Forma Pura será o ideal buscado em suas
obras e como achava que deveria ser a arte,
último reduto da possibilidade de experienciar
o “mistério da Existência” à sua época e no
futuro. É possível dizer que na teoria da Forma
Pura morariam germes da constituição da
performance-arte e do teatro contemporâneo.

Abstract:
n this article we will cover a
little of the life of Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz-
Witkacy (1885-1939) and also of his “Pure Form
theory”. The Polish multi-artist was a painter,
photographer, playwright, novelist, performer,
writer of a philosophical theory and also of the
theory of the Pure Form, an aesthetic theory.
Between a kind of formalism and expressionism,
the Pure Form will be the ideal he would look
for in his artistic works and, as he thought art
should be, the last stronghold of the possibility
of experiencing the “mystery of Existence” in
his time and in the future. It is possible to say
that in the Pure Form theory there were some
germs of what would become an important part
of contemporary art-performance and theatre.
