Abstract: This study focuses on the debate on Educational Software: an analysis of the application "LeLe Syllables" through the Reeves Method in the literacy process. Accessible by different audiences, software applied to Education can be a mediator in the construction of knowledge, especially in the literacy process. Thus, this theme aims to analyze the application "LeLe syllables" through the software evaluation criteria, identifying its importance in the literacy process and evaluating pedagogical aspects of the application through the Reeves Method. The methodology approaches the bibliographic study of an exploratory nature that sought to elect authors who discuss the theme in question, such as Bertoldi (1999); Soares (2011) and analyzed the application using the Reeves Method based on 10 interface criteria and 14 pedagogical criteria that address the role of software during its use in the teaching and learning process. It is concluded that despite the negative evaluation in most of the pedagogical criteria in the Reeves Method, the application proved to be effective as an auxiliary and very important digital tool in the process of literacy acquisition.
