SOCIEDADE DO DESEMPENHO, VIOLÊNCIA DO IGUAL E HOSPITALIDADE – REFLEXÕES SOBRE A CONVIVÊNCIA COM A NEURODIVERSIDADE A PARTIR DO PENSAMENTO DE BYUNG-CHUL HAN
A neurodiversidade representa a variabilidade natural da organização neurológica dos seres humanos. Nela, estão inclusas configurações como autismo, déficit de atenção com hiperatividade, dispraxia e dislexia. Nesta perspectiva, a neurodiversidade não deve ser entendida enquanto doença a ser curada, mas como uma diferença a ser acolhida pela sociedade contemporânea. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma reflexão acerca da sociedade neoliberal e a convivência com a neurodiversidade, tendo como base o pensamento do filósofo Byung-Chul Han. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica com a análise de obras selecionadas do autor e a discussão de comentadores que debatem sobre a neurodiversidade. Defendeu-se que: (1) a sociedade do desempenho e a positividade configuram o contexto social geral onde a neurodiversidade está inserida; (2) a violência do igual é o diagnóstico do problema social relacionado à população neurodiversa; e (3) a hospitalidade ao negativo deve ser adotada como princípio ético para lidar com a demanda por alteridade inerente ao convívio com pessoas neurodiversas.

Abstract:
Neurodiversity represents the natural variability of the neurological organization of human beings. It includes settings such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyspraxia, and dyslexia. In this perspective, neurodiversity should not be understood as a disease to be cured, but as a difference to be accepted by contemporary society. The purpose of this article is to present a reflection on neoliberal society and coexistence with neurodiversity, based on the thinking of philosopher Byung-Chul Han. To this end, a bibliographic research was carried out with the analysis of selected works by the author and the discussion of commentators who debate on neurodiversity. It was argued that: (1) the performance society and positivity configure the general social context in which neurodiversity is inserted; (2) peer violence is the diagnosis of the social problem related to the neurodiverse population; and (3) hospitality to the negative should be adopted as an ethical principle to deal with the demand for otherness inherent in living with neurodiverse people.
