SOBRECARGA DE CUIDADORAS DOMICILIARES DE PESSOAS ACOMETIDAS POR ACIDENTE VASCULAR CEREBRAL E ENCEFÁLICO
O Acidente Vascular Cerebral e
o Acidente Vascular Encefálico são doenças
relevantes para a morbimortalidade na
população mundial, especialmente adultos e
idosos. Mediante as incapacidades que podem
causar, os pacientes necessitam de apoio de
um cuidador para realização de suas atividades
cotidianas. Alinhando-se a essa realidade,
e relacionando-a com a sobrecarga de
cuidadoras, objetivou-se através deste estudo,
identificar os principais fatores que influenciam
a sobrecarga entre as cuidadoras que prestam
assistência domiciliar a pacientes acometidos
e com sequelas de AVC/AVE. Trata-se de uma
revisão bibliográfica, realizada em março de
2016, nas seguintes bases de dados: SCIELO,
MEDLINE, BDENF, LILLACS e BVS. A questão
norteadora foi: Quais os principais fatores que
influenciam a sobrecarga entre as cuidadoras
de pacientes com AVC/AVE? Foram analisados
7 artigos. As mulheres são em sua maioria, as
provedoras do cuidado e os principais fatores
que culminam para a sobrecarga destas são:
dependência do paciente, idade, pouco grau de
escolaridade, dificuldades financeiras, mudança
no estilo de vida e falta de divisão das tarefas.
Cuidar de um paciente acometido por AVC/
AVE é uma tarefa exaustiva, principalmente
para cuidadoras informais. O estudo aponta
para a necessidade de intervenção por parte
da enfermagem, visando a minimização da
sobrecarga e consequentemente a melhora na
qualidade de vida destas pessoas.

Abstract:
Cerebral Vascular Accident and
Stroke are diseases relevant to morbidity and
mortality in the world population, especially
adults and the elderly. Through the disabilities
they can cause, patients need support from a
caregiver to perform their daily activities. Aligning
to this reality, and relating it to the overload
of caregivers, the objective of this study was
to identify the main factors that influence the
overload among caregivers who provide home
care to patients affected and with sequels of stroke / stroke. It is a bibliographical
review, carried out in March 2016, in the following databases: SCIELO, MEDLINE,
BDENF, LILLACS and VHL. The guiding question was: What are the main factors that
influence the overload among caregivers of stroke / stroke patients? We analyzed 7
articles. Women are mostly the care providers and the main factors that lead to the
overload of these are: patient dependence, age, poor schooling, financial difficulties,
change in lifestyle and lack of division of tasks. Caring for a patient affected by stroke /
stroke is an exhaustive task, especially for informal carers. The study points to the need
for nursing intervention, aiming at minimizing the burden and consequently improving
the quality of life of these people.
