Sobre divertir, educar e instruir as crianças: o caso da revista Vida Infantil (1947-1951)
O presente trabalho visa apresentar
um breve estudo sobre uma revista infantil
que circulou em âmbito brasileiro. Trata-se da
Revista Vida Infantil. A revista em destaque foi
publicada de 1947 a 1960. Nos limites deste
trabalho, contudo, serão contemplados os
anos de 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 e 1951 (até
julho), com especial enfoque nas colunas de
cunho instrutivo/ pedagógico que compuseram
a revista durante esses 5 anos, percebendo
permanências e rupturas. Salienta-se o fato de
este trabalho ser decorrente da minha pesquisa
de mestrado, cujo objeto e fonte de pesquisa
é a Revista Vida Infantil. A pesquisa encontrase
em fase inicial, assim como este estudo. A
relevância deste trabalho se localiza no esforço
de coletar, organizar e analisar as colunas
de viés pedagógico/ instrutivo do impresso,
sob uma perspectiva histórica. Busca-se,
assim, colaborar, em alguma medida, com os
estudos da História da Educação e História da
Leitura. Por fim, de um lado, a partir de Bakhtin
(2014), intentar-se-á examinar a construção do
fenômeno da interação verbal e das enunciações
veiculadas nas colunas da revista em destaque.
Chartier (2011), por outro lado, instiga a pensar
práticas de leitura e a construção do leitor ideal
e do dualismo entre leitor ideal e leitor real.

Abstract:
This paper aims to present a
brief study about a magazine for children that
circulated in Brazilian territory. It is Vida Infantil
magazine. The magazine was published from
1947 to 1960. In the limitations of this paper,
however, it will be contemplated the years of
1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 and 1951 (until July),
with a special focus on the columns with an
instructive/ pedagogic sense that composed
the magazine during these 5 years, noticing
continuances and breaks. It is highlighted the
fact that this paper is related to my master’s
researches, whose object and source of this
research is Vida Infantil magazine. The research
is in a very initial phase, as well as this study.
The relevance of this paper can be identified in
the effort to collect, organize and analyze the
pedagogical/ instructive columns of this press,
under a historical perspective. It aims, then, to
collaborate, in a way, with the studies of History
of Education and History of Reading. Finally,
on one hand, according to Bakhtin (2014), we
try to examine the construction of the verbal
interactional phenomenon and the enunciations
presented in the columns of the magazine in question. Chartier (2011), on the other
hand, instigates to think reading practices and the construction of the ideal reader and
the dualism between ideal reader and actual reader.
