SMART CITY: uma análise bibliométrica
Existem no mundo vários projetos de implantação de SmartCities que fazem uso das novas tecnologias para atender as demandas sociais. O objetivo desta pesquisa é mapear a produção cientifica internacional sobre Smart City nas principais bases de dados, ISI Web ofKnowledge/Web of Science e ScietificElectronic Library Online (SciELO), no recorte temporal entre os anos 1991 e 2018. Como revisão teórica inicial, apresenta-se uma seção introdutória com um quadro geral a respeito do desenvolvimento das cidades por meio das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs) e outras ferramentas tecnológicas. Como procedimentos metodológicos, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliométrica em trabalhos acadêmicos na Web of Science e Scielo. Como principais resultados das análises foram identificadosa quantidade de artigos em evolução exponencial atingindo sua culminância no ano de 2018 e os artigos mais citados que apresentam, abordagens relacionando Smart City com outros mecanismos de comunicação e informação, como a Internet das Coisas.

Abstract:
There are several Smart Cities implementation projects in the world that make use of new technologies to meet social demands. The objective of this research is to map the international scientific production on Smart City in the main databases, ISI Web of Knowledge / Web of Science and Scietific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), in the time frame between 1991 and 2018. As an initial theoretical review. , an introductory section is presented with an overview of the development of cities through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and other technological tools. As methodological procedures, a bibliometric research was performed in academic works in the Web of Science and Scielo. As main results of the analyzes were identified the number of exponentially evolving articles reaching their peak in 2018 and the most cited articles that present, approaches relating Smart City with other communication and information mechanisms, such as the Internet of Things.
