“SISTEMATIZAÇÃO DA ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM A UM NEONATO COM OSTEOGÊNESE IMPERFEITA E SUA FAMÍLIA INTERNADO EM UMA UNIDADE DE CUIDADOS INTERMEDIÁRIOS NEONATAL”
A osteogênese imperfeita (OI) é
uma doença caracterizada pela fragilidade
óssea decorrente do defeito quantitativo ou
qualitativo do colágeno tipo 1, sintetizado
pelos osteoblastos. A tríade das manifestações
clínicas inclui a esclerótica azulada,
fraturas espontâneas e surdez precoce. A
Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem
deve ser realizada levando em consideração um
referencial teórico e as prioridades de saúde de
um cliente. No que tange a doença em questão,
são escassos na literatura os estudos à cerca da
osteogênese imperfeita na área de enfermagem,
principalmente a respeito do manejo dos
cuidados prestados e do suporte à família.
A dificuldade encontrada para desenvolver a
Sistematização da Assistência de Enfermagem,
uma das bases científicas da profissão, devido
à ausência de produção científica da área
dentro deste assunto, demonstrou que pouco se
pesquisa sobre a atuação do enfermeiro frente
à osteogênese imperfeita, deixando indagações
a respeito de qual é o papel do enfermeiro
frente à essas situações. Diante disso, a equipe
de enfermagem deve estar capacitada para
prestar cuidados básicos como a movimentação
adequada sem causar fraturas e utilização de
coxins para prevenção de achatamento de
ossos, porém o cenário atual de publicações a
respeito do tema não favorece uma assistência
de qualidade baseada em fundamentação
científica. É necessário que mais pesquisas
sejam realizadas com a mesma temática para
avançarmos em qualidade de cuidado e para
proporcionar reconhecimento à atuação do
enfermeiro frente a osteogênese imperfeita,
que no cenário atual ainda permanece velada.

Abstract:
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a
disease characterized by bone fragility resulting from the quantitative or qualitative
defect of type 1 collagen, synthesized by osteoblasts. The triad of clinical manifestations
includes bluish sclera, spontaneous fractures and early deafness. The Systematization
of Nursing Care must be carried out taking into account a theoretical reference and the
health priorities of a client. Regarding the disease in question, there are new studies
in the literature about the imperfect osteogenesis in the nursing area, especially
regarding the management of the care provided and support to the family. The difficulty
found to develop the Nursing Care Systematization, one of the scientific bases of the
profession, due to the absence of scientific production of the area within this subject,
showed that little research is done on the nurses performance against the imperfect
osteogenesis, leaving inquiries about it of which is the nurse’s role in these situations.
Given this, the nursing team should be able to provide basic care such as adequate
movement without causing fractures and use of cushions to prevent bone flattening,
but the current literature on the subject does not favor quality assistance based on
scientific basis. It is necessary that more research be carried out with the same theme
to advance in quality of care and to provide recognition to the nurses performance
against the imperfect osteogenesis, which in the current scenario is still veiled.
