Abstract: This work sought to present the relationship between reward systems and motivation in the workplace. In this sense, we intended to answer the following question: Do organizational reward systems, which are used by an internet provider company in Floriano-PI, contribute to the motivation of the company's external salespeople? Faced with this question, it was possible to elaborate the general objective of this research: Analyze the relationship between reward systems and the motivation of external salespeople at an internet provider company in the city of Floriano-PI. The justification for this study is based on the premise that the members who make up company teams represent one of the most valuable assets in any organization. In this sense, it is believed that the skills, abilities, knowledge and attitudes of employees are the distinctive factors that drive corporate progress. Furthermore, to promote motivation and satisfaction in fulfilling responsibilities, it is essential to offer due recognition for the commitment demonstrated. This study was developed in two distinct moments: a bibliographical review and a case study with an interview with the Human Resources manager and the application of a questionnaire with external salespeople. To make it possible to carry out this study, we opted for a qualitative approach and, to carry out the analysis of the information obtained, through the interview and application of the questionnaire, we opted for content analysis with a view to understanding the data obtained. It is concluded that the reward systems offered by the company positively influence employee motivation and they are satisfied with the rewards they receive.
