Abstract: This study presents the development of an automatic central pivot irrigation system, highlighting its efficiency, technological innovation, and positive impact on agribusiness. Aiming to optimize water resource usage, promote sustainability, and increase agricultural productivity, the project ranged from designing components in SolidWorks and manufacturing them via 3D printing to integrating sensors, motors, and C++ programming for automation. The prototype proved effective by monitoring soil moisture in real-time, controlling the movement of irrigation towers, and automatically activating the water pump, relying on PID algorithms to ensure high precision. In addition to reducing water waste and operational costs, the solution proves strategic in addressing challenges such as droughts and promoting more sustainable agricultural practices. In this context, the study highlights the fundamental role of advanced technologies and interdisciplinary approaches in modernizing agribusiness. It opens pathways for future research regarding economic and environmental impacts, particularly on a larger scale.
