Abstract: Objective: To analyze the scientific productions of the last 5 years on the relationship between Metabolic Syndrome (MS) in workers. Method: Integrative literature review with search in the BDENF, LILACS and SCIELO databases in the months of June and July 2021. Inclusion criteria: Studies available in full text, Portuguese and English languages, published in the years 2015 to 2020, which addressed metabolic syndrome in workers. Exclusion criteria: Incomplete texts, duplicate articles, theses, dissertations and monographs. Applied filters: Full text, worker health, metabolic syndrome, work, Portuguese and English languages, last 5 years. The data were subjected to descriptive analysis. Results: Initial sample 241,936 articles, after applying the filters 91 articles, after analysis, 84 articles were excluded because they did not fit the guiding question. Final sample 7 articles. Presented in table form. The following categories were summarized for discussion: Changes in lifestyle and working conditions; Cardiovascular diseases and MS. Conclusion: The literature presents a favorable relationship with MS in workers. Despite being a common disease among society, MS can pose a high risk to the health of this population. Although the proposed objective was achieved, few studies were found on this topic, making it essential to create new studies.
