Abstract: Objective: to describe nursing care for children who developed post-covid multisystem inflammatory syndrome. Method: descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach, carried out by surveying the profile of hospitalized children combined with interviews with the nursing team from the pediatric ward from March to June 2022. The data were analyzed descriptively and the reports followed the Bardin's content analysis technique and using the Atlas.ti software. The study was approved by the permanent ethics committee for research with human beings with opinion no. 5,205,666. Results: there were six hospitalizations due to the syndrome, three children required intensive care and used oxygen. None died. Ten professionals composed the study and the data formed the following categories: Identification of COVID-19 and Post-Covid Inflammatory Syndrome in pediatric patients; and Nursing care and treatment of post-covid Inflammatory Syndrome in pediatric patients. Final Considerations: the low number of affected children may be related to underreporting. The professionals were able to identify the signs and symptoms of the pathology, however, the majority of the care was technical.
