SÍNDROME DE TAKOTSUBO E SUA PREVALÊNCIA EM MULHERES: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA DESENVOLVIDA EM UM AMBIENTE ACADÊMICO HOSPITALAR
A síndrome de Takotsubo é uma cardiomiopatia caracterizada por disfunção cardíaca aguda reversível, o prognóstico em sua maioria é favorável e a sua recorrência é rara, sendo observado a predileção por mulheres e a associação a um gatilho emocional. O estudo tem por objetivo geral destacar as evidências atuais da literatura em relação a síndrome de Takotsubo, sua prevalência no sexo feminino, as principais etiologias, diagnóstico e tratamento. O problema de pesquisa foi: Quais as evidências atuais na literatura científica brasileira sobre a síndrome de Takotsubo e sua relação em mulheres? Foi realizada a revisão integrativa de literatura, sendo avaliados no total 15 artigos disponíveis nas principais bases de dados nos anos de 2010 a 2020, os quais em sua maioria demonstraram que a prevalência em mulheres está ligada ao intenso estresse físico e emocional, porém essa não é a única teoria norteadora de sua etiologia. Verificou-se que devido às semelhanças clínicas entre síndrome de Takotsubo e síndrome coronariana aguda, seu diagnóstico diferencial é um desafio e o tratamento ainda não é específico, porém similar ao efetuado nas síndromes coronarianas.

Abstract:
Takotsubo syndrome is a cardiomyopathy characterized by reversible acute cardiac dysfunction, the prognosis is mostly favorable and its recurrence is rare, with a predilection for women and the association with an emotional trigger. The study's general objective is to highlight the current evidence in the literature regarding. Takotsubo syndrome, its prevalence in females, the main etiologies, diagnosis and treatment. The research problem was: What evidence is current in the Brazilian scientific literature on Takotsubo syndrome and its relationship in women? The integrative literature review was performed, being evaluated in a total of 15 articles available in the main databases in the years 2010 to 2020, which most of them demonstrated that the prevalence in women is linked to intense physical and emotional stress, but this is not the only theory that is the guide of its etiology. It was found that due to the clinical similarities between Takotsubo syndrome and acute coronary syndrome, its differential diagnosis is a challenge and the treatment is not yet specific, but similar to that in coronary syndromes.
