SÍNDROME DE CHILAIDITI: UM IMPORTANTE DIAGNÓSTICO DIFERENCIAL
A interposição de um seguimento de alça intestinal entre o fígado e o diafragma é chamada de sinal de Chilaiditi. Essa interposição tanto pode ser permanente como intermitente e é chamada de Síndrome de Chilaiditi quando associado a sintomas como distensão abdominal, dor abdominal, náusea, obstrução intestinal, dentre outros. O conhecimento sobre a alteração radiográfica, bem como a diversidade de sinais e sintomas produzidos é de suma importância. Isso se faz notório no contexto do atendimento de emergência, uma vez que ela pode mimetizar um quadro que necessite intervenção cirúrgica imediata. Sendo esta, contrária ao tradicional tratamento da síndrome como o jejum e repouso. Este trabalho traz uma revisão literária dos principais aspectos da síndrome, sua diversidade de sintomas, etiologia multifatorial e o tratamento proposto.

Abstract:
The segmental interposition of an intestine’s loop between the liver and the diaphragm is called Chilaiditi’s sign. This interposition can be either permanent or intermitent, and is known as Chilaiditi Syndrome when symptons are associated with abdominal distension, abdominal pain, nausea, intestinal obstruction, among others. Knowledge about the radiographic change, as well as the diversity of signs and symptoms produced, is of paramount importance. It is evident in the emergency department, since it can mimic a condition that requires immediate surgical intervention. What is in contrast to the standard syndrome’s treatment, for instance, bowel rest and bed rest. This work presents a literature review of the main aspects of the syndrome, its symptons´s diversity, multifactorial etiology and the proposed treatment.
