SINCRETISMO RELIGIOSO NO BRASIL (COLONIAL): UMA PERSPECTIVA DE ANÁLISE ATRAVÉS DA OBRA CASA GRANDE & SENZALA
O sincretismo religioso é a presença
de vestígios de algumas crenças religiosas em
outras e no Brasil esta característica é percebida
desde a sua colonização. Esta pesquisa visa
analisar o livro de Gilberto Freyre Casa Grande
& Senzala no intuito de verificar como esse autor
interpretou o sincretismo religioso na sociedade
(colonial) brasileira, pois foi um dos principais
teóricos da historiografia brasileira que tratou
deste assunto. Neste caso, para análise teórica
e metodológica da referida obra, trabalharemos
com a história das ideias, enfatizando a
abordagem dialógica do historiador Dominick
LaCapra, fazendo a relação das fontes com a
abordagem teórica do Gilberto Freyre.

Abstract:
The Religious syncretism is the
presence of vestiges of some religious beliefs in
others and in Brazil this characteristic has been
perceived since its colonization. This research
aims to analyze the book by Gilberto Freyre
Casa Grande & Senzala in order to verify how
this author interpreted religious syncretism in
brazilian society (colonial), since he was one
of the main theorists of brazilian historiography
who dealt with this subject. In this case, for
theoretical and methodological analysis of this
work, we will work with the history of ideas,
emphasizing the dialogical approach of the
historian Dominick LaCapra, making the relation
of the sources with the theoretical approach of
Gilberto Freyre.
