O desenvolvimento de recursos tecnológicos tem propiciado que a simulação seja amplamente utilizada na formação de enfermagem, promovendo o desenvolvimento de competências essenciais à boa prática clínica, como a segurança e a confiança dos estudantes. Buscou-se discorrer sobre o uso da simulação no ensino de enfermagem em emergência e suas contribuições para a segurança do paciente. o uso da simulação configura-se como uma ferramenta de aprendizado que, aliada à prática clínica e arcabouço teórico amparado em evidências científicas, contribui amplamente para a segurança dos pacientes, sobretudo em contextos críticos de saúde, como a urgência e emergência

Abstract:
The development of technological resources has enabled simulation to be widely used in nursing education, promoting the development of essential skills for good clinical practice, such as the safety and confidence of students. We sought to discuss the use of simulation in emergency nursing education and its contributions to patient safety. the use of simulation is configured as a learning tool that, combined with clinical practice and theoretical framework supported by scientific evidence, contributes widely to patient safety, especially in critical health contexts, such as urgency and emergency.
