SERVIDÃO, SUBMISSÃO E "LIBERAÇÃO" FEMININA EM CONTOS DE ALCIENE RIBEIRO
“Vinte anos, dia seguindo dia, sem se projetar em nada. [...] Serviu, serviu, serviu. Só. Deixara-se anular como pessoa”. A protagonista de “Vinte anos de Amélia”, conto da escritora mineira Alciene Ribeiro, reflete a respeito dos vinte anos passados desde seu casamento, chegando, por fim, a concretizar sua liberação desse tempo de servidão. Esta pesquisa, do tipo bibliográfica, tem por objetivo o estudo da servidão sexual, da submissão e da liberação da mulher nos contos “Vinte anos de Amélia” e “Lar, doce lar”. O tema é referenciado em diversos momentos da contística da escritora, e tais momentos são recuperados como ponto de partida da pesquisa. Esta pesquisa se justifica porque, apesar da considerável produção literária de Alciene Ribeiro, com mais de 20 títulos publicados em cerca de três décadas, sem contar as antologias das quais participou, e dos prêmios nacionais recebidos já no início de sua carreira, poucas são as pesquisas a respeito de sua obra. Ademais, a investigação de elementos que configuram a servidão, a submissão e a liberação da mulher num texto de autoria feminina, a partir de personagens femininas, pode esclarecer a visão da mulher a respeito de seu papel nas relações conjugais, além do contraste ou concordância dessa visão com o papel à mulher delegado pela sociedade.

Abstract:
“Vinte anos, dia seguindo dia, sem se projetar em nada. [...] Serviu, serviu, serviu. Só. Deixara-se anular como pessoa”. The protagonist of “Vinte anos de Amélia”, short story by the female writer Alciene Ribeiro, from the state of Minas Gerais, in Brazil, reflects on the twenty years passed since her wedding day, and, in the end, turns real her liberation from this time of subservience. This study aims to, through a bibliographic research, approach the sexual subservience, submission and liberation of the woman in the short stories “Vinte anos de Amélia” e “Lar, doce lar”. This theme is referred in many moments in the writer’s pieces, and these moments are recovered as the starting point of this research. This study is justified by the lack of research about Alciene Ribeiro’s works, even though she has a considerable literary production with more than twenty published titles for around three decades besides the anthologies she has taken part in and the literary awards she has won. Also, the investigation of the elements that set the serfdom, submission and liberation of the woman on texts written by a female author and from the perspective of female characters may help to clarify both the way women see their role in conjugal relationships and the comparison of this view with the role delegated to women by the society.
