Abstract: The emphasis on public involvement in health research has increased over the last 20 years. In the case of tuberculosis, research monitoring by civil society enables the understanding of lived experiences that will complement specialized scientific knowledge. However, mastering the research theme and how to monitor it is still a barrier for civil society. This study describes the process of creating media in the format of a podcast series as a tool for social mobilization and advocacy in monitoring tuberculosis research in Brazil. It is a methodological and technological development study of an Information, Education and Communication (IEC) tool in the form of a podcast. The work is a subproject of Project Logos. Three stages were developed: pre-production, production, and post-production in the years 2021-2022. Five podcasts were developed with themes including: activism, community engagement, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, partnership service, civil society and academia. The participation of experts in the field of social mobilization and advocacy during the theorization, scriptwriting, and recording of the episodes allowed for the adaptation of the theme to the target audience. In all the podcasts, there were two hosts and two guests. The podcasts lasted on average 30 minutes, with only the first one being less than 25 minutes. All podcasts had a structure of an intro (jingle and presentation of the episode theme) and 3 acts (1. context, getting to know the guest and initial positions; 2. more direct opinions on what is being discussed and 3. conclusion, opinions and arguments of the hosts and guests). The production of the Podcast Dialogos series presents itself as a resource that involves innovation and leadership, due to the processes developed for the provision of transversal information for social mobilization and advocacy in the monitoring of tuberculosis research with evidence for communication
