Abstract: We sought to understand the impact of social isolation resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic on the biopsychosocial development of adolescents and its influence on the resumption of social and school life. This is a qualitative, exploratory and applied field research, carried out with five volunteers accessed by the snowball method, interviewed remotely from a semi-structured questionnaire prepared by the researchers. The inclusion criteria were being between 15 and 18 years old, having attended secondary school in a public school and having studied during isolation. Study approved by the Ethics Committee of CEU Barão de Mauá. From the content analysis, impacts on learning, establishment and maintenance of bonds, psychosocial maturation and identity formation were identified. School psychology can facilitate the mediation of communication between adolescents in this context.
