SEQUÊNCIA DIDÁTICA PARA O ENSINO DE COSMOLOGIA NOS ANOS FINAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

Apresentamos uma sequência didática para o ensino de cosmologia voltado aos anos finais do ensino fundamental, consistindo na realização de: aula expositiva, seguida de exibição de um vídeo, que culmina na realização de atividade prática, que trata da evolução da cosmologia e do conhecimento do homem acerca do universo ao redor ao longo da história. Buscamos através desta atividade conscientizar os estudantes acerca das teorias que, no passado, almejaram explicar o universo, bem como as atuais. Abordamos no vídeo apresentado a importância do telescópio Hubble, suas descobertas e contribuições para a humanidade, assim como seu futuro, e, após a apresentação e discussão do vídeo foi realizado um experimento lúdico de confecção de nebulosas em garrafas. A sequência didática pode ser a abertura para o desenvolvimento de um aprendizado mais aprofundado sobre o tema, ou uma oportunidade de abordagem única do mesmo, despertando e/ ou aumentando a curiosidade já existente no aluno para que busque investigar de maneira mais aprofundada. A proposta foi experimentalmente realizada no Instituto de Aplicação Fernando Rodrigues da Silveira (CAp/UERJ) com resultados muito positivos. A simplicidade da proposta não requer que o professor que venha a aplica-la seja um expert no assunto, possibilitando que seja realizada por professores de Ciências que não tenham formação específica em Física.

  • Abstract: We present a didactic sequence for teaching cosmology aimed at the final years of elementary school, consisting of: an expository class, followed by the showing of a video, which culminates in the performance of a practical activity, which deals with the evolution of cosmology and knowledge of man about the universe around him throughout history. Through this activity, we seek to make students aware of the theories that, in the past, aimed to explain the universe, as well as the current ones. In the video presented, we discussed the importance of the Hubble telescope, its discoveries and contributions to humanity, as well as its future, and, after the presentation and discussion of the video, a playful experiment was carried out on making nebulae in bottles. The didactic sequence can be the opening for the development of more in-depth learning on the topic, or an opportunity for a unique approach to it, awakening and/or increasing the student's existing curiosity so that they seek to investigate in more depth. The proposal was experimentally carried out at the Fernando Rodrigues da Silveira Application Institute (CAp/UERJ) with very positive results. The simplicity of the proposal does not require the teacher who applies it to be an expert on the subject, making it possible for it to be carried out by Science teachers who do not have specific training in Physics.
