Abstract: Introduction: Vaccines are capable of protecting individuals from pathogens, creating immune responses more effective to combat diseases caused by them. Vaccine campaign is a relevant weapon to achieve herd immunity , promoting more coverage and health quality. According to the Brazilian national immunization program (Programa Nacional de Imunização), the vaccines against Influenza, Meningitis C, and COVID-19 are due to be given in the first semester of 2023. As a result, there was a high demand for those vaccines in the health centers of Belo Horizonte/MG, overloading units and healthcare professionals. This situation makes immunization harder, increasing wait lines and repelling the public. Therefore, the participation of medical students in the process of the campaign helps organize the lines and optimize the wait times. Purpose: Make the immunization process more dynamic in a health center in the central area of Belo Horizonte/MG, in order to reduce the long wait lines and facilitate the vaccination of the target audience. Methodology: Two more vaccine rooms were opened, one being for the priority group and another one specifically to Influenza and Meningitis C. In each room there was a nurse and up to two medical students registering and vaccinating the public. Another student organized the line flow, analyzing vaccine cards and directing the patients to the rooms. In addition, there was a third room that had the COVID-19 vaccines and the others that may be needed. Results: The waiting lines became smaller and the service faster. Furthermore, the public and the healthcare professionals expressed and reported satisfaction with the speeded process. Conclusion: Once extensive lines to vaccinate repel the target audience of the campaign, this method was effective in achieving the immunity of citizens.
