SAÚDE MENTAL DE PACIENTES ONCOLÓGICOS E RELAÇÃO AO TRATAMENTO ANTINEOPLÁSICO
Introdução: O câncer é uma doença que gera aflição aos pacientes por estar associada a morte. Contudo, já existem tratamento eficazes e cura de tumores em vários casos. Desse modo, é primordial que os profissionais de saúde tratem não somente da doença tumoral, mas também da saúde mental, envolvendo indivíduo completo para um melhor planejamento e gestão do caso clínico, pois o estado mental em qual se encontra o paciente pode influenciar melhor adequação ao tratamento. Objetivo: destacar a influência da saúde mental de pacientes oncológicos em tratamento antineoplásico. Método: Foi realizada uma pesquisa nas bases de dados eletrônicas BVS, Pubmed e SciELO, com os seguintes descritores e seus sinônimos: depressão, ansiedade, oncologia, radioterapia e quimioterapia, sendo selecionados artigos entre 2010 a 2020, na língua portuguesa e inglesa, que apresentam pesquisas originais com pacientes oncológicos maiores de 18 anos Resultados: Foram analisados cinco artigos, os quais mostravam o tratamento contra o câncer identificando a presença de quadros de ansiedade ou depressão nos pacientes. Conclusão: Devido ao resultado da pesquisa foi concluído que é necessário o apoio de uma equipe multiprofissional para planejar meios que proporcionem melhor qualidade de vida do paciente.

Abstract:
Introduction: Cancer is a disease that causes affliction to the patients because it’s often associated with death. However, effective treatment and cure of tumors already exist in various cases. Therefore, it's essential that health professionals don’t treat only the tumoral disease, but also the mental health, involving the complete individual to a better planning and management of the clinical case, since the mental state in which the patient is can influentiate better adequacy to the treatment. Objective: Emphasise the influence of mental health in oncologic patients in antineoplastic treatment. Methods: A research was performed in the electronic databases BVS, Pubmed and Scielo, with the following descriptors and it’s synonyms: depression, anxiety, medical oncology, radiotherapy and drug therapy, selecting articles between 2010 and 2020, in portuguese and english, that present original researches with oncologic patients over 18 years of age. Results: Five articles were analysed, which showed the treatment against cancer identifying the presence of anxiety or depression in the patients. Conclusion: Due to the results of the research it was concluded that the support from the multiprofessional team is necessary to plan means that provide better quality in the patient's life.
