SAÚDE COLETIVA – CONFIGURAÇÃO DE ÁREA EPISTEMOLÓGICA
A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo discutir o que é saúde coletiva, seu objeto e campo de atuação. Para isso, realizou-se um estudo de revisão integrativa entre novembro e março de 2022, guiado pela seguinte pergunta norteadora: quais as contribuições da Saúde Coletiva para os mais diversos âmbitos da sociedade? Para o levantamento dos artigos na literatura, realizou-se uma busca nas seguintes bases de dados: 1. Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde; 2. Portal de periódicos da Capes. Foram utilizados, para busca dos artigos, os seguintes descritores e suas combinações na língua portuguesa: saúde coletiva e campos de atuação e saúde coletiva e sistema único de saúde. A partir das definições, critérios e combinações de palavras-chaves definidas para o estudo foram localizadas 5974 publicações. A amostra final foi composta por 10 artigos. De acordo com os resultados da presente pesquisa foi possível constatar que na atualidade, pode-se assegurar que a Saúde Coletiva se estabeleceu, consolidando espaço específico e autônomo, e como tal, convive em frequente processo de validar-se socialmente. Evidencia-se ainda, as contribuições da Saúde Coletiva em múltiplas esferas da sociedade, todavia, alguns estudos salientaram um certo impasse na inserção para o mercado de trabalho recomendando que permanece a necessidade de intervenções para beneficiar o ingresso de egressos ao mercado de trabalho. Percebeu-se ainda, não haver um campo científico mais interdisciplinar do que a Saúde Coletiva, pois os indivíduos e seu contexto de vida são complexos e, por esse motivo, demandam do profissional de saúde uma compreensão crítico-reflexiva sobre a determinação social do processo saúde-doença.

ABSTRACT
This research aimed to discuss what collective health is, its object and field of action. For this, an integrative review study was carried out between November and March 2022, guided by the following guiding question: what are the contributions of Public Health to the most diverse spheres of society? To search for articles in the literature, a search was carried out in the following databases: 1. Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences; 2. Capes journal portal. The following descriptors and their combinations in Portuguese were used to search for articles: collective health and fields of activity and collective health and the single health system. From the definitions, criteria and combinations of keywords defined for the study, 5974 publications were located. The final sample consisted of 10 articles. According to the results of the present research, it was possible to verify that at present, it can be ensured that Collective Health has been established, consolidating a specific and autonomous space, and as such, it coexists in a frequent process of social validation. It is also evident the contributions of Collective Health in multiple spheres of society, however, some studies have highlighted a certain impasse in the insertion into the labor market, recommending that the need for interventions to benefit the entry of graduates into the labor market remains. It was also noticed that there is not a more interdisciplinary scientific field than Public Health, because the individual and his life context are complex and, for this reason, demand from the health professional a critical-reflexive understanding of the social determination of the process health-disease.
