Satisfação do bibliotecário de trabalhar em biblioteca escolar
O estudo visa analisar um discurso
presente entre alunos finalistas do curso de
Biblioteconomia da Universidade Federal
do Espírito Santo, que evidencia certo
distanciamento e até insatisfação em relação
ao trabalho em bibliotecas escolares, tanto do
setor público quanto do privado. Essa questão
despertou o interesse em pesquisar com
mais profundidade se o discurso apregoado
pelos alunos finalistas é uma realidade dos
bibliotecários que atuam na área. A hipótese
mais provável, em relação a estar satisfeito
ou insatisfeito com o trabalho, perpassa
questões de baixa remuneração e de falta
de reconhecimento por parte dos gestores.
Objetiva-se identificar se os bibliotecários estão
satisfeitos ou insatisfeitos em trabalhar em
bibliotecas escolares, conhecer os incentivos
dados a esse profissional no local em que atua
e analisar se as funções são desempenhadas
de forma semelhante nas escolas públicas e
privadas. Buscou-se ouvir a opinião do próprio
bibliotecário que trabalha nesse nicho do
mercado. Optou-se por um estudo de cunho
quantitativo. Para o levantado de dados fezse
visitas in loco às bibliotecas analisadas
e como instrumento de coleta de dados foi
utilizado o formulário. Das questões impostas
aos bibliotecários do setor público e do privado,
conclui-se que a insatisfação dos profissionais
lotados em instituições públicas tem relação
com o salário e a falta de reconhecimento
da profissão. Por outro lado, os indivíduos
de instituições particulares disseram ter as
condições necessárias de trabalho.

Abstract:
The present study aims to analyze
a discourse present among finalist students
of the Librarianship course of the Federal
University of Espírito Santo, which shows certain
distance and even dissatisfaction with work in
school libraries, both in the public and private
sectors. This question has aroused interest
in investigating in more depth if the discourse
proclaimed by the finalist students is a reality of
the librarians who work in the area. The most
likely hypothesis, in relation to being satisfied or
dissatisfied with the work, runs through issues
of low remuneration and lack of recognition by the administrator. The objective is
to identify if librarians are satisfied or dissatisfied with working in school libraries, to
know the incentives given to this professional in the place where they work and to
analyze if the functions are performed in a similar way in public and private schools.
It was sought to hear the opinion of the librarian who works in this market niche. We
opted for a quantitative study. For data collection, the on-site visits were made to the
analyzed libraries and the form was used as a data collection instrument. From the
questions posed to librarians in the public and private sectors, it is concluded that the
dissatisfaction of professionals in the public institutions is related to the salary and lack
of recognition of the profession. On the other hand, individuals from private institutions
said they had the necessary working conditions.
