Abstract: Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is a common gynecological condition that significantly impacts women's quality of life, often requiring complex medical and, in many cases, surgical interventions. Recent studies highlight the effectiveness of the PALM-COEIN classification system for diagnosis, while research points to barriers in accessing care, such as health literacy difficulties and cultural taboos. Conservative treatment approaches for women of reproductive age, including the use of antifibrinolytics and progestogens, emphasize the need to individualize management and preserve reproductive health. Additionally, advancements in diagnostic methods, such as transvaginal ultrasound and hysteroscopy, are crucial for faster and more effective interventions, reducing complications such as anemia and the need for hysterectomy. Current literature emphasizes the importance of accessible and personalized care for AUB, benefiting women’s health comprehensively.
