ROTAS DE PRODUÇÃO DE ÉSTERES DE ETILA: UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA
Os ésteres de etila, utilizados como biocombustíveis e em diversas aplicações
industriais, são produzidos principalmente por reações de transesterificação e
esterificação. O esgotamento de fontes fósseis e a necessidade de alternativas
sustentáveis impulsionam a busca por matérias-primas renováveis e processos mais
eficientes. Este estudo apresenta uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a produção de ésteres
de etila, abordando diferentes rotas de síntese, catalisadores e matérias-primas, com
destaque para o óleo da polpa de macaúba.

Abstract: Ethyl esters, used as biofuels and in various industrial applications, are primarily produced through transesterification and esterification reactions. The depletion of fossil resources and the need for sustainable alternatives drive the search for renewable raw materials and more efficient processes. This study presents a literature review on the production of ethyl esters, addressing different synthesis routes, catalysts, and raw materials, with a focus on macaúba pulp oil.
