RODRIGO CUNHA: SÓLIDA SOLIDÃO NA CENA CONTEMPORÂNEA
O seminário “ leitura de imagens” promove a discussão teórica em torno da problemática da significação dos mais variados objetos da visualidade, propondo reflexões sobre as diferentes linguagens visuais. O presente trabalho discorrerá sobre a obra do artista Rodrigo Cunha, cuja poética concentra-se predominantemente na pintura centrada na representação da figura humana. As imagens são dispositivos capazes de unir pontos distantes. Pensamos em apresentar Rodrigo Cunha e outros artistas distantes no tempo e contemporâneos a ele, onde a potência do olhar se dará na impulsão dos trabalhos conjuntos, para abordar a solidão na cena contemporânea, um tema que assola nossas cidades.

Abstract:
The seminar "image reading" promotes theoretical discussion around the problem of the meaning of the most varied objects of visuality, proposing reflections on the different visual languages. The present work will discuss the work of the artist Rodrigo Cunha, whose poetics is predominantly focused on painting centered on the representation of the human figure. Images are devices capable of joining distant points. We thought of introducing Rodrigo Cunha and other artists who were distant in time and contemporary to him, where the power of the gaze will be given to the impulse of joint works, to address loneliness in the contemporary scene, a theme that plagues our cities.
