RISCO DE BRONCOASPIRAÇÃO DAS CRIANÇAS DE ZERO A CINCO ANOS INTERNADAS NUMA UNIDADE DE TERAPIA INTENSIVA PEDIÁTRICA
este estudo objetiva identificar o risco de broncoaspiração das crianças de zero a cinco ano internadas numa Unidade de Terapia Pediátrica. A presente pesquisa foi constituída pelos enfermeiros da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Pediátrica (UTI-P) do referido hospital, que aceitaram participar do estudo. A avaliação do Risco de Broncoaspiração foi efetuada através da coleta de informação em registro no diário de campo. Das 18 crianças avaliadas através do registro no diário de campo 12 tiveram maior risco de broncoaspiração devido à utilização de sondas entéricas e ventilação mecânica por tubo orotraqueal e/ou traqueostomia, e 06 crianças apresentaram menor risco por não utilizarem os dispositivos. Conclui-se que as crianças internadas na UTI-P apresentam o alto índice de risco para broncoaspiração.

Abstract:
this study aims to identify the risk of aspiration in children between zero and five years of age hospitalized in a Pediatric Intensive Therapy Unit. This research consisted of nurses from the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU-P) of the aforementioned hospital, who agreed to participate in the study. The assessment of the risk of bronchoaspiration was carried out by collecting information recorded in the field diary. Of the 18 children evaluated through the registration in the field diary, 12 had a higher risk of bronchoaspiration due to the use of enteric tubes and mechanical ventilation through an orotracheal tube and/or tracheostomy, and 6 children had a lower risk for not using the devices. It is concluded that children hospitalized in the P-ICU present a high risk index for bronchoaspiration.
