RHABDOMYOLYSIS: CLINICAL ASPECTS AND RELEVANCE OF ITS STUDY FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
A rabdomiólise é uma síndrome
clínico-laboratorial decorrente da lise das
células musculares esqueléticas e consequente
liberação de substâncias intracelulares para
a circulação sanguínea, as quais causam as
suas manifestações clínicas. Devido a tais
manifestações frequentemente não serem
muito nítidas e o prognóstico dessa síndrome
ser diretamente maior conforme mais rápido
é instituído o tratamento, sendo que suas
complicações são potencialmente fatais,
conclui-se que o seu estudo é relevante dentre
os currículos de Ensino dos profissionais da
Área da Saúde.

Abstract:
Rhabdomyolysis is a clinicallaboratory
syndrome that results from the lysis of
skeletal muscle cells and the consequent release
of intracellular substances into the bloodstream,
which cause its clinical manifestations. Due to
the fact that these manifestations are often not
very clear and the prognosis of this syndrome
is directly greater as the treatment is started
faster, and its complications are potentially fatal,
it’s possible to conclude that its study is relevant
among the teaching curriculum of the Health
area professionals.
