REVISTA BRASILEIRA DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA E DESPORTOS (1968-1984): A EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA “EM MARCHA” NO GOVERNO MILITAR
O estudo apresentado traz parte dos resultados obtidos durante na pesquisa que trata sobre a utilização da Revista Brasileira de Educação Física e Desportos (RBEFD) como fonte de pesquisa para compreender a história da Educação Física no contexto educacional brasileiro durante o regime militar no recorte temporal da publicação e circulação desse impresso, desde o momento em que volta à cena em 1968 até o seu último número, em 1984. A metodologia aplicada na investigação foi de caráter documental, com a análise de 59 textos (artigos, cartas, editoriais, mensagem aos professores, etc) contidos nas 53 edições da RBEFD, dos quais 28 eram artigos com a temática Educação Física escolar, fundamentada nas proposições teóricas da Nova História Cultural, tendo como objeto de investigação as orientações governamentais no que diz respeito aos efeitos positivos das práticas corporais e os esforços despendidos para que os professores de Educação Física adotassem os discursos contidos na RBEFD, notadamente, por ser um instrumento que permite visualizar o processo em que a Educação Física escolar foi apontada como promotora da saúde e que o esporte passa a ser objeto de ensino nas escolas, empregado de modo a atender os anseios políticos do Governo Ditatorial Militar, bem como a importante contribuição que este impresso ofereceu para a reorganização da disciplina Educação Física no ambiente escolar. Em linhas gerais, o artigo traz a importância da imprensa periódica pedagógica como fonte de pesquisa, uma vez que ela permite revelar o campo educacional em dimensões distintas, como as particularidades que envolvem a teoria e a prática, os sistemas escolares e processos educativos, além da formação de professores em diferentes períodos, por fim, buscamos apresentar como essa revista foi produzida e colocada em circulação visando chegar às mãos do maior número de profissionais.

Abstract:
The study presented brings part of the results obtained during the research that deals with the use of the Revista Brasileira de Educação Física e Desportos (RBEFD) as a source of research to understand the history of Physical Education in the Brazilian educational context during the military regime in the clipping period of publication and circulation of this print, from the moment it returned to the scene in 1968 until its last issue, in 1984. The methodology applied in the investigation was of a documentary nature, with the analysis of 59 texts (articles, letters, editorials, message to teachers, etc) contained in the 53 editions of the RBEFD, of which 28 were articles with the theme Physical Education at school, based on the theoretical propositions of the New Cultural History, having as object of investigation the governmental guidelines with regard to the positive effects of body practices and the efforts made for Physical Education teachers to adopt the discourses contained in the RBEFD, notably, because it is an instrument that allows visualizing the process in which Physical Education at school was identified as a promoter of health and that sport becomes an object of teaching in schools, used in order to meet the political aspirations of the Military Dictatorship Government. , as well as the important contribution that this form offered to the reorganization of the Physical Education discipline in the school environment. In general terms, the article highlights the importance of the pedagogical periodical press as a source of research, since it allows revealing the educational field in different dimensions, such as the particularities that involve theory and practice, school systems and educational processes, in addition to of teacher training in different periods, finally, we seek to present how this magazine was produced and put into circulation in order to reach the hands of the largest number of professionals.
