REVISÃO HISTÓRICA DO CINEMA DE RUA EM NATAL– RN E AS POSSIBILIDADES DO STREAMING
A pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a revisão histórica do cinema de rua em Natal/RN, faz parte do contexto da Cinemateca Potiguar, sediada no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte – IFRN, Campus Cidade Alta, Natal/RN. Realizou-se a análise quantitativa e qualitativa da história dos cinemas potiguares de rua pela revisão bibliográfica do trabalho com duas obras referenciais, “Écran Natalense, Capítulos da História do Cinema em Natal” e o “Claquete Potiguar: do Rio Grande do Norte”, onde encontra-se o capítulo “Iconografia dos cinemas do Norte-rio-grandense: resgate histórico das salas de cinema de Natal”. As obras contam a história do nascimento do cinema de rua natalense desde o ano de 1898 até o seu fim, em 2014, e seus impactos na distribuição e público. E ainda buscar compreender as possibilidades do cinema potiguar em um contexto da revolução das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação, e utilizando o Sistema Gerenciador de Conteúdo – CMS, Wordpress para disponibilizar vídeo por demanda.

Abstract:
The bibliographic research on the historical review of street cinema in Natal/RN is part of the context of Cinemathech Potiguar, based at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte – IFRN, Campus Cidade Alta, Natal/RN. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of the history of potiguar street cinemas was carried out through the bibliographic review of the work with two reference works, "Écran Natalense, Chapters of the History of Cinema in Natal" and "Claquete Potiguar: from Rio Grande do Norte", where you can find the chapter “Iconography of the cinemas of Rio Grande do Norte: historical rescue of the cinemas of Natal”. The works tell the story of the birth of street cinema in Natal from 1898 to its end in 2014, and its impacts on distribution and audience. And still seek to understand the possibilities of potiguar cinema in a context of the revolution of Information and Communication Technologies, and using the Content Management System - CMS, Wordpress to provide video on demand.
