REVISÃO DE LITERATURA: TERMORREGULAÇÃO DE OVINOS DA RAÇA MORADA NOVA
A raça Morada Nova é uma das principais raças naturalizadas de ovinos deslanados do Nordeste do Brasil. São animais bem adaptados às condições do semiárido nordestino. Mesmo assim, pequenos rebanhos podem ser encontrados em outras regiões do País, como Sudeste e Centro-Oeste. Além da grande adaptação ao ambiente tropical, a raça se destaca pelo baixo peso adulto, elevada números de crias por parto, não estacionalidade reprodutiva, boa habilidade materna e excelente qualidade de pele. Objetivou-se com este trabalho realizar uma revisão de literatura para avaliar o comportamento termorregulatório de ovinos de da raça morada, sob condições ambientais no nordeste brasileiro.

Abstract:
The Morada Nova breed is one of the main naturalized hair sheep breeds in Northeast Brazil. They are animals well adapted to the conditions of the northeastern semi-arid region. Even so, small herds can be found in other regions of the country, such as the Southeast and Midwest. In addition to the great adaptation to the tropical environment, the breed stands out for its low adult weight, high number of offspring per birth, non-seasonal reproduction, good maternal ability and excellent skin quality. The objective of this work was to carry out a literature review to evaluate the thermoregulatory behavior of sheep of the Morada breed, under environmental conditions in northeastern Brazil.
