Abstract: This article, titled "Literature Review: Remote Geography Teaching and ICTs in Elementary Education," aims to analyze, based on the literature, the main advances and methodological strategies for teaching Geography using Information and Communication Technologies in Brazil over the last two decades. This is justified by the fact that Geography is becoming an expanding science considering its proximity and direct relationship with ICTs today. This discussion is a relevant subject of scientific investigation in different departments worldwide, especially when considering the need for a more in-depth reflection on the problem: How are ICTs being used in the teaching and learning process in Geography in Brazil today? The descriptive-analytical bibliographic method was adopted under a qualitative approach, available in two specific formats: print and digital media. The latter contains more up-to-date publications, is freely available, and easily obtainable by the researcher. Regarding the results obtained, it was found that Remote Teaching in Geography with the use of ICTs is in evidence, and the literature categorically shows that the methods adopted by teachers of this important human science are undergoing transformation.
